Member of the Week: Barry Gilmore
Barry Gilmore of Ralphs #115 has been in the industry for over 30 years. He started out in the Dairy Deli and is now a Receiver.
Gilmore’s hobbies include the love of wine and all that goes with it. He enjoys going on wine tasting trips in his free time.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “I just wanted to be more involved in our union and I wanted to help my fellow employees.”
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: “I enjoy working with people, both co-worker and customer.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have had the opportunities that I do.”
