Member of the Week: Ron Lobo
Ron Lobo of Ralphs #15 has been in the industry for more than 30 years. He was hired as a courtesy clerk and ripper and is currently a Produce Manager.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “My rep really inspired me to be a bigger part of this. They show great leadership and a willingness to help others.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I am sure I wouldn’t have all of the great things I have like medical, family, good wages, and a secure job.”
Q: What is your greatest asset?
A: “I’d have to say my personality and ability to get along with others.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “My family, I have four wonderful girls.”
