Heroes Act Town Hall Webinar with Congressman Mike Levin

UFCW Local 135 and UFCW 324 are co-hosting a town hall webinar on the HEROES Act with 49th Congressional District Representative Mike Levin.

Congressman Levin will have the floor to discuss the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act, also known as the HEROES Act and other issues pertaining to essential workers.The HEROES Act would provide $3 trillion in funding to help the US economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic. The HEROES Act passed the House of Representatives in May and is being held up in the Senate.A relevant component of the legislation “establishes a fund to award grants for employers to provide pandemic premium pay for essential workers.”
