Customers Without Masks
With the recent mask mandate by the Governor of California, many members are concerned what to do when approached by a customer that refuses to wear a mask. You should first report the violation to your store manager and ask that they deal with the situation. If management will not address the situation, you have the right to refuse service to a customer not wearing a mask due to the fact it puts your health and safety in danger.
Tell your supervisor/manager:
“I am exercising my legal right to a healthy and safe work place by refusing service to any customer not wearing a mask. It is my right to insist on maintaining 6 feet between myself and any customer who is not wearing a mask.”
