Planned Parenthood Petition

On July 15, 2022, we reached out about the ongoing problems over Covid-19 and work demands. We had meetings with Terry Stapleton, HR, health center managers; we wrote letters representing entire teams and had signed petitions. We–from AMA to MA to Clinicians to MDs–spoke out and were told that our issues were valid and concerning, and that upper management would fight in our best interest to improve work conditions, work staffing, and pay discrepancies. Yet, to this day things have not changed and we continue to see a significant increase in patients with similar staffing shortages.

We have not been compensated for the hard work that we do. All of this while PPOSBC continues to make record profits ($106.48 million in 2023) and Jon Dunn, CEO who (according to propublica.org) earned a total of $633,916 in 2023 while the majority of staff struggles with the cost of living. Our CEO’s salary increase in 2023 was 12% while we at the health centers only saw a small increase in pay. Fair compensation should be paid to everyone that has made PPOSBC the success that it is.

Lastly, PPOSBC has delayed our union election to buy time and convince staff members to vote against their own interest!! Remember that we decided to unionize when all of our pleas, letters, petitions, meetings did nothing to change things. It’s time to unite! It’s time for a change!
