Member of the Week: Ricky Talbot
Ricky Talbot of Albertsons Warehouse has been in the industry for 16 years. He started working in the warehouse for Luckys stores and stayed through the Albertsons change over.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “I wanted to know what the union was all about, and I wanted to help make sure that my people are taken care of.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have the protections on the job that I do now, and I wouldn’t have the job security that I do.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “My family.”
