Member of the Week: Eneida Michel
Eneida Michel of Stater Bros. #33 has been in the industry for 20 years. She was hired as a Clerk’s Helper and is now the Back-Up Receiver and Deli Manager.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “We didn’t have a Steward at our store and after my first Steward Meeting, I got so much information that I continue to get more involved.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I would be in debt paying hospital bills and dental bills and I would likely make a lot less money.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be a part of something so important.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “My children.”
