Strike Notice

Today, Southern California UFCW locals served Kaiser Permanente with a notice of a potential strike. Unless Kaiser improves on their insulting low-wage offer and eliminates their two-tier reduction of wages for future hires, the UFCW strike for Pharmacy members will begin on Thursday, November 18th at 7 AM.  Members must continue to work until that time, and not walk off job until told to do so by a UFCW Rep or Picket Captain.

UFCW Local 324 held two zoom meetings yesterday regarding negotiations, and since then, things have changed. At this time, we remain at the bargaining table. Please remember that negotiations are fluid and we will update you with new developments.

Before going on strike, there will be another vote on the latest offer. We will also be scheduling zoom meetings on the offer on the table at that time, the voting process, strike details and address FAQs. Details to follow.

This is an opportunity for Kaiser to address worker wages, staffing, safety, and the future of your work. Remain strong and united!
