Member of the Week: Gloria Swartz

Gloria Swartz of Vons Pavilions #2206 has been in the industry for 29 years. She was hired as a GM clerk in the Bakery in 1985.

Swartz’s hobbies include reading, softball and soccer. She was in a women’s league and coaches youth soccer.

When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “To be better informed. I wanted to know what was going on with the union and my store.”

Q: What is it you like most about your job?

A: “I am a people person, so interacting with people is what I like best.”
