Member of the Week: Luz Alcantar
Luz Alcantar of Kaiser has been in the industry for 21 years. She started out as a pharmacy assistant and is now a Pharmacy Technician.
Alcantar’s hobbies include working at her local church in the children’s ministry. She also is trying to build a non-profit charity program for low income families that struggle to provide school supplies at the beginning of every school year.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “The knowledge, information and learning how to stand up for the rights of fellow employees.”
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: “Being part of a partnership and knowing that my voice and the voices of my peers will be heard and there are solutions to any disagreement.”
