Member of the Week: James Bush
James Busg of Jatar Medical Couriers has been in the industry for 9 years. He is a medical courier, driving samples all over Southern California.
Bush’s hobbies include spending time with his family, shopping, taking vacations, and watching TV and movies on Netflix.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “We needed a voice. Things weren’t good here and we needed a change. That’s when we decided to become union. After all was said and done I was asked if I would like to be a Steward, and now I am.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have anyone to look out for me, and the company wouldn’t be held accountable. I wouldn’t have a voice here.”
Q: What is your greatest asset?
A: “That I am strong minded and aggressive.”
Q: If you could make a single change in the workplace, what would it be?
A: “To add a healthcare plan to our contract. It’s something we all really want.”
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: “I really like that we are free. We aren’t tied to an office.”
