WHAT TO DO IF YOU DON’T GET YOUR BALLOT

Ballots were mailed to Planned Parenthood Orange County workers on May 29, 2024. If you have not received your ballot we urge you to contact the NLRB agent at: (213) 894-5254 immediately. Reference your case number (21-RC-317961) when leaving your message. A new ballot can be sent to you right away for this very important vote.

Ballots are being mailed on Wednesday May 29, 2024, so check your mailboxes and vote in this important election.

This is a secret ballot election carried out through the US mail by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Employees eligible to vote in this election will receive ballots and instructions in the mail. Ballots are being mailed May 29, 2024.

Vote in 5 easy steps!

  1. MARK YOUR BALLOT. Mark your ballot in secret by placing an ‘X’ in the appropriate box. It is very important that you only mark the yes or no box on the ballot and do not write or mark anywhere else on the ballot or the ballot may not be counted. DO NOT SIGN OR INCLUDE OTHER MARKINGS THAT MAY REVEAL YOUR IDENTITY. (If you submit a ballot with markings inside, or anywhere around, more than one square, your ballot will not be counted. You may request a new ballot if needed. Refer to the instructions included with your ballot.) Your bargaining committee urges you to vote union yes! A yes vote means that you want UFCW 324 to represent you in your workplace.
  2. SECURE YOUR SECRET BALLOT. Place your marked ballot into the blue envelope and seal the envelope. DO NOT MARK THIS ENVELOPE.
  3. SEAL YOUR SECRET BALLOT. Place the blue envelope containing your marked ballot into the larger yellow, self-addressed envelope and seal this envelope as well.
  4. SIGN YOUR ELECTION ENVELOPE. Sign the yellow self-addressed envelope. On the back of the envelope, fill out the space provided with your name and signature. IF YOUR YELLOW ENVELOPE IS NOT SIGNED YOUR BALLOT WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
  5. MAIL YOUR BALLOT. Mail your ballot immediately. NO POSTAGE NECESSARY. You must mail your ballot yourself. DO NOT PERMIT AN EMPLOYEE-PETITIONER OR OTHER TO HANDLE, COLLECT, OR MAIL YOUR BALLOT.

TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BALLOT IS COUNTED, YOUR BALLOT MUST REACH THE DESIGNATED POLLING LOCATION BY 2:30PM ON JUNE 20, 2024.

All ballots will be co-mingled and counted by a NLRB board agent at 2:30 PM on June 20, 2024. In order to be valid and counted, the returned ballots must be received by the NLRB prior to the counting of the ballots. Please send your ballots by June 14, 2024.
