Member of the Week: Kellie Cooper
Kellie Cooper of Albertsons #6186 has been in the industry for nearly 12 years. She was hired as a clerk’s helper and is now the assistant front end manager and bookkeeper.
Cooper’s hobbies include kayaking, spending time at the beach, riding bikes, walking the dog, cooking, movies, hiking, running, and time at the gym.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “I have always supported my union because they have the best interests of the employees at hand. I have been able to put myself through college while having good benefits and decent pay.”
Q: What is it you like most about your job?
A: “I love the people I work with and the fact that I was able to gain accounting experience and work around my school schedule.”
