Member of the Week: Janae Eisenhauer
Janae Eisenhauer of Stater Bros. #166, has been in the industry for 13 years. She started out as a courtesy clerk and is now a CSR.
Eisenhauer’s hobbies include reading and spending time with her son.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “The Union backed me up when I had a grievance of my own and I knew then that I wanted to help other employees when they needed it.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have the job security or the support that I do. It’s nice knowing there is someone to back you up.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “I am proud of my son.”
Q: If you could make any single change in your workplace what would it be?
A: “To have more help. With hours being cut, there is too much to do in the time we have.”
Q: What is it you like most about your job?
A: “I like knowing that I have job security and a Union in place to back me up.”
