Member of the Week: Mark Beierle
Mark Beierle of Albertsons # 6110 has been in the industry for 27 years. He was hired as a courtesy clerk and is now the Dairy Manager.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “I think it is important to be a positive role model, and I enjoy helping other people.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I am pretty sure I wouldn’t own my own home.”
Q: If you could make a change in the workplace, what would it be?
A: “I would bring the store managers closer to our pay level and make the employees feel more valuable.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “I am most proud of my family, though having as many years in as I do is also something I am proud of.”
