Working Class and Cinema
From the silent era to modern films, from folk to hip-hop, film and music have always been used to express and mold the views in our society. This course will examine how film and music are used to shape perceptions of the working class and labor unions in American popular culture. We will examine how these mediums can build or undercut the labor movement.

Classes are Thursday evenings from 6 PM – 9:15 PM starting August 29, 2024 – December 12, 2024
