2021 COVID-19 Supplemental Sick Leave
The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and its California Labor Commissioner’s Office has launched a web tool to use to see if you qualify for 2021 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave.
Senate Bill 95, signed by Governor Newsom went into effect on March 29 and is retroactive to January 1, 2021. The law requires that California workers are provided up to two weeks of supplemental paid sick leave if they are affected by COVID-19.
