Rite Aid Merger
Yesterday, Aug. 8, the merger between Rite Aid and Albertson’s was called off by both parties. Rite Aid and Albertsons said late Wednesday they “mutually agreed” to kill the deal.
Rite Aid has reached out to your union and has stated they are currently not available to meet for negotiations until the end of August due to the merger collapse.
Continue to Stand Strong and send the message to Rite Aid management that no matter their merger problems, they must negotiate a fair contract for you and your families that protects your Trust Fund healthcare, protects full time jobs, and pays fair wages.
