Michael Clark of CVS #9744 has been in the industry for 24 years. He was hired as a clerk and is now a shift supervisor.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “Knowing how well and caring the union is for hard working Americans and to get us what we deserve as citizens. It inspired me to want to help where I can.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I am sure my benefits would not be as good, I wouldn’t have protection form the company letting people go at will and I probably wouldn’t be earning the retirement that I am now.”
Q: If you could make a change in the workplace, what would it be?
A: “Trying to please everyone at work to bring more employees on and help bring down the unemployment rate.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “My family and my friends.”
