Member of the Week: Lorraine Johnson
Lorraine Johnson of CVS #8841, has been in the industry for 39 years. She started out as an ice cream scooper/office clerk, worked as a checker, moved through Human Resources and now does payroll.
Johnson’s hobbies include teaching Sunday School, reading, riding her bike, grilling on the Bar-B-Q and caring for her granddaughter.
She also started taking Labor History classes held at local 324.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “Mainly for my own information. Being a steward enables me to correctly inform my co-workers.”
Q: What is it you like most about your job?
A: “We all get along! Most everyone goes one step beyond their job to help one another.”
