Kimberly Kay of CVS #9512 has been in the industry for over 10 years. She was hired as a cashier and is currently a Night Crew Supervisor.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “Seeing others unable to defend themselves against management or unable to reasonably articulate their issues.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “My life would be very different, the union has helped me with several different issues and provides a better place to work.”
Q: What is your greatest asset?
A: “My mouth! I have always been able to articulate my thoughts well.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “I am most proud of my children, after that I would have to say what I have accomplished so far.”
Q: If you could make any change in your workplace what would it be?
A: “more hours and a little less micro -managing.”
