Member of the Week: Jay Eskridge
Jay Eskridge of CVS 9491 has been in the industry for 17 years. He was hired as a Clerk and is currently a Shift Supervisor.
When asked what inspired him to get more involved he said, “The need to be active and to protect what we have.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I am certain I would have lower pay, different benefits (if any) and no job protections.”
Q: What is your greatest asset?
A: “My fairness and willingness to work a problem and find a solution to it.”
Q: If you could make a change in the workplace, what would it be?
A: “I would want a better appreciation of how hard everyone works to make our company a successful one.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “I am most proud of my service to our country from ’86-’89 and of being a union member.”
