Ida Arias of Kaiser Pharmacy in Garden Grove has been in the industry for 18 years. She started as a pharmacy assistant and is now an inventory control clerk.
Arias’s hobbies include spending time at the beach and dancing.
When asked what inspired her to get more involved she said, “I wanted to be updated on what’s going on and help with any decisions.”
Q: How would your life be different if you were not a union member?
A: “I wouldn’t have as many benefits and perks as I do, and I am certain that I wouldn’t make as much.”
Q: If you could make a change in the workplace, what would it be?
A: “I guess it would be better communication and to have the staff get along a bit better.”
Q: What in your life are you most proud of?
A: “My job. I love my job and I take it very seroiusly.”
Q: What is it you like most about your job?
A: “I like order and organization, so I love what I do. Ordering and keeping track of inventory works for me.”
